I just started wearing mascara. My mom said just wear mascara and lip gloss and i do. I have dark eye lashes and big eyes. My mom said i would look really good with mascara on, so it will just pop out! Anyone have any tips? Thanks for all the tips. I will try to use them!

alson try eye liner on the top eye lid
Use black (since you have dark eye lashes) with a slightly curled brush to define them.
use an eye lash curler first then put on the mascara when you apply it wiggle it back and forth
I wouldn’t use mascara because then you will gradually lose your eyelashes. Use eyeliner instead. If you have pale skin, use a brown eyeliner. If you have a darker complexion, use black eyeliner. Also, put on some eyeshadow. I don’t like liquid eyeliner because it’s hard for me to apply it without looking like I was getting ready for Halloween.
Yes! I have some! I wear mascara everyday.
1. You should only apply mascara to your top lashes. This is because your bottom lashes touch your skin and the oils from your skin will smudge the mascara.
2. After applying mascara, take an eyelash brush and separate the lashes…. this will also help with clumping.
3. You might not want to buy a waterproof mascara because it is hard to wash out. Unless you are planning on swimming or doing something involving water.
4. A great brand of mascara is Maybelline XXL mascara. It is great! First you apply the white end of the mascara. This adds texture to your lashes to make them thicker. Then you use the other end of the mascara (the black end). This covers the white and makes your lashes look twice as thick! Its great.

Use an eyelash curler. Immediately after you use mascara use a eyelash brush to get any possible clumps out!

Curl your lashes first before applying the mascara. Shu Uemara has the best curlers. Sephora also has curlers for lower lashes.
Use a lash comb or a clean mascara wand after applying mascara to get rid of clumps.
When putting it on wiggle it a little at the roots and keep wiggling all the way up the eyelashes. It cuts down on clumps.
For a dramatic effect apply only to the top lashes but if you wanna apply mascara to the bottom lashes brush a little bit of transparent loose powder under your eyes so it absorbs the oil your skin produces throughout the day. (My mascara never smudges if I use the powder)
Try using a mascara primer.
Don’t pump the wand in and out. Rotate it to get more mascara on it.
Wait a few seconds before you blink so that the mascara doesn’t get on your eyelids.
Try getting mascara with a thin and/or short brush. Thin brushes let you get the corners and short brushes give you more control.
Throw out your mascara after three months because all the bacteria from your eyes grows in there and then you could get an eye infection.
If you want thicker lashes try putting on one coat of lenthening mascara and one coat of thickening mascara.

when applying the mascara, u should take the brush and shove it to the roots of ur eyelashes. then u slowly roll it towards the end. this makes such a big difference then just brushing the mascara. it gives u more curl, length and volume. also for the mascara brush make sure it’s nice and full and bushy. this helps by getting every lash and it gives a lot more volume which will make ur pretty eyes pop even more! good luck!!!!!!!
