Tips for evenly applying mascara on your top lashes?

I’ve been using mascara for years now and only on my top lashes because it doesn’t look good on my bottom ones. But it is really hard for me to get my eyes to look symmetrical, one side always looks heavier than the other and it takes forever to even them out. Are there any tips or tricks to help me get my eyes looking even? Thanks!

thats what i do only the top also i count{in my head}lol ex:20 swipes on one side then 20 swipes on the other:D
use the same amount of coats on each eye and also try holding an index card in between ur lashes and eye lid so u don’t smudge and it helps to get rid of clumps
My cousin taught me this trick. If you want even lashes on your top lashes, put your mascara wand on your lash and what you do is you swivel it up like 1/2 way and just move straight up. That will even your lashes out and make it look voluminous and good!
I used to have this same problem! What I do is gently move the wand back and forth while going up to define all of your lashes equally. Then set the mascara wand on the tip of your lashes and blink on to the brush. This adds a little extra length and ‘maintains’ the mascara, so to speak.
